Cascabel is an online western role-playing game set in a valley in the Brazilian countryside, played in the PC web browser with no download. Players arrive as travelers and choose their own path: learning trades, fishing, hunting, raising a ranch with crops and livestock, and riding between villages. Goods are sold and traded with other players in the village Market, and duels in the street only start when both players accept.

Storyline
In 1895, a traveler rides into a valley in the Brazilian countryside with little more than a horse and a hat. Between the village square and the open road, there is a ranch to build, trades to learn, game to track in the woods and a Market where travelers trade what they make. Around the campfires, people tell causos and legends of the valley, and on full moon nights some say the woods whistle back.
